Cuzama Celestun is a town located in the northwest corner of Yucatan State, Mexico, on the Gulf of Mexico coast. The town is part of Celestun Biosphere Reserve which is a wetland reserve that is the migratory home for flocks of flamingos, herons and more than 200 other bird species that pass through or reside permanently there. It is also refuge for endangered sea turtle hatchlings. Celestun is popular for its beaches and abundant wildlife.

Bahia Concepcion is located on the Sea of Cortez in the state of Baja California Sur, Mexico. Bahia Concepcion is made up of more than 50 beaches making it one of the largest bays of the Baja California Peninsula. Tourists have popularized Playa Los Naranjos, Playa Punta Arena, Playa Santispac and others leading south to Mulege, only twenty miles away. Near Playa Santispac lies the lighthouse of Isla Pitahaya.
