San Francisco de Campeche, also known as just “坎佩切” is located in the state of Campeche, 墨西哥, on the Bay of Campeche of the Gulf of 墨西哥. Campeche serves as the Capital of the state of Campeche and has a population of over 200,000 people. The city has earned the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its preservation and the quality of the architecture. The city has retained most of the wall fortifications built to defend it from the pirates of the Carribbean.

卡拉克穆尔 is located in the state of Campeche in southeastern Mexico about 22 miles north of the Guatamalan border. It is a Maya archeological site discovered deep in the jungles of the Peten Basin region. The name was given the site by its discoverer, Cyrus L. Lundell, and meansCity of the Two Adjacent Pyramids.there are 6,750 ancient structures the largest is the great pyramid and the second pyramid is also one of the tallest of the Maya pyramids.

瓦哈卡市, also known as Oaxaca de Juarez, is the largest city and capital of the Mexican 瓦哈卡州. It is located in the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains from the base of the Cerro del Fortin to the banks of the Atoyac River. Oaxaca is a tourist town, featuring colonial-era buildings built with the native green stone and archeological sites such as 阿尔班山, named a 世界遗产 in 1987.

Tlacotalpan is located in the eastern coastal region of the 韦拉克鲁斯州, 墨西哥. Tlacotalpan is a World Heritage Site, chosen in 1998 because of the architecture which reflects the fusion of Spanish and Caribbean in its wide streets, houses in many colors, and beautiful old trees in both public and private spaces. The name is from the language Najuatl and it meansplace between two rivers.

Puebla City is located southeast of 墨西哥 City in the state of Puebla, 墨西哥. It is the fourth largest city in Mexico and is an industrial hub and a World Heritage Site because of its history and architectural styles. The most notable attractions are the Zocalo, a tree-filled plaza with many sculptures, surrounded by the City Hall, Casa de los Munecos and the Catherdral. Nearby is El Parian an arts and crafts market. The best known mole is named for this city, Mole Poblano. And every year on the fifth of May Puebla celebrates the defeat of the French in 1862. This holiday is also celebrated in the U.S. but is not widely observed in the rest of Mexico.

奥里萨巴

奥里萨巴 is located 20 miles from 科尔多瓦, its sister city, in the 韦拉克鲁斯州, 墨西哥. Its name comes from the Nahuatl language meaningvalley of happy waters.One of the notable sites of the city is El Palacio de Hierro (The Iron Palace). Designed by Eiffel and built with 600 tons of steel it is now longer used as the city hall but is a tourist attraction. Other tourist attractions include the Church of La Concordia and the State Art Museum.

塔钦 is located in the municipality of Papantla, northwest of the port city Veracruz, in the state of Veracruz, 墨西哥. 塔钦 was named a World Heritage Site in 1992 because of its architecture and cultural importance. Among its ancient monuments is the famous Pyramid of the Niches, the Arroyo Group, the North and South Ballcourts and the palaces of Tajin Chico. It has been the most important archeological site and tourist attraction in Veracruz, The name 塔钦 refers to thunder or a lightening bolt and the twelve gods of thunderstorm inhabit the ruins.

Tilaco

Tilaco is one site of the Sierra Gorda Missions located in the central Mexican state of Queretaro. It was built by the Franciscan missionary Junipero Sierra circa 1750 and is noted for its colorful facades and stonework. They were named a World Heritage Site by 联合国教科文组织 in 2003.
