Sierra de San Pedro Martir National Park is located on the northern part of the Cordillera Baja California Mountain Range called the Sierra de San Pedro Martir. The park is located in Baja California Sur, México. It protects one of the few pine tree forests on the Baja California Peninsula. The park also protects habitats for the Bighorn Sheep as well as the California Condor. México’s largest optical telescope is located at the National Astronomical Observatory on the nearby peak of Cerro del la Cupula.

Bahia Concepcion is located on the Sea of Cortez in the state of Baja California Sur, México. Bahia Concepcion is made up of more than 50 beaches making it one of the largest bays of the Baja California Peninsula. Tourists have popularized Playa Los Naranjos, Playa Punta Arena, Playa Santispac and others leading south to Mulege, only twenty miles away. Near Playa Santispac lies the lighthouse of Isla Pitahaya.
