Sierra de San Francisco is a mountain range within the El Vizcaino Biosphere Reserve. It is located in Mulege Municipality of the northern region of the state of Baja California Sur, Mexico. This range is part of the Peninsula Ranges system, which extends from Southern California to the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula. This range is part of the Baja California Desert ecoregion.

Laguna Ojo de Liebre is located in the northwestern part of Baja California Sur, Mexico. It is a coastal lagoon near the town of Guerrero Negro in the Mulege Municipality that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The lagoon is the wintering and reproductive site of whales, sea lions and turtles.Tourism is controlled.
