Tulum is the site of a Pre-Columbian Maya city. It is a walled city on the cliffs along the east coast of the Yucatan Peninsula on the Caribbean Sea in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. It lasted for almost a century as a Maya city after the occupation of the Spanish. It is beautifully preserved and very popular with tourists.There are three famous structures at the site. El Castillo, the Temple of the Frescoes, and the Temple of the Descending God.
San Cristobal de las Casas is located in the central highlands of Chapas, Mexico. It has been designated a “Pueblo Magico” (Magical Village) in 2003 and is considered the cultural capital of Chapas. The city attracts tourists with its native populations and numerous festivals and charming cobblestone streets. A large number of tourists have settled in San Cristobal which has expanded the local culture and added Italian, French, Thai, Indian and Chinese restaurants.
Cancun is located in the state of Quintana Roo on the southeast coast of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. This is a renowned vacation spot with tourists coming from all over the world to enjoy the beaches, beautiful hotels and restaurants. It is just north of Mexico’s Caribbean coast resort band know as the Riviera Maya.
Oaxaca Stad, also known as Oaxaca de Juarez, is the largest city and capital of the Mexican staat Oaxaca. It is located in the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains from the base of the Cerro del Fortin to the banks of the Atoyac River. Oaxaca is a tourist town, featuring colonial-era buildings built with the native green stone and archeological sites such as Monte Alban, named a Werelderfgoed in 1987.
